Today I found Mr. Ditka distant, uninspired and boring. He speaks as though even he did not believe his own meanderings. His bromidic argument for Marty Schottenheimer as a lock for the Hall of Fame was clearly a call for help. I fear that Mr. Ditka may need to spend some time with us here at the Elgin Mental Health Facililty. Perhaps he could use some lithium.
