i'd be ok with grote getting a show. rozner would be fine assuming he is paired with the right partner.

it'll be Larry. Remember, FOTS said that Larry was an invaluable substitute even though ratings tanked and everyone hated it. And like you point out,there would be nobody else ready to take it. Maybe one of them become's Larry's sidekick...not sure what they'd do with Spiegs though I think I've read here his contract aligns with Mac, and Spiegel probably wouldn't even want to co-host with Larry.

It'd be nice if they used a Mac departure to do a real overhaul (including solo Dan Bernstein's one-step-camp pledge drive every morning on the 3s), but this is the Score, so they'll just keep recycling the same people.

I know this won't happen for a variety of reasons, but why not pair meat with DB at 1pm? 670 can stop picking up Boers' work from home calls, and it's not like the listening audience is going to notice his absence anyway. Plus isn't he [formally] retiring soon anyway?

Use Macs money to hire some bland, well known radio guy for 9am and find another youngish prospect to pair him/her with. Or unleash Laurence.

The only time you will hear Larry name mentioned is when meatpants brings it up...n mac says nothing...Spiegal n Larry are boys, I assume it would be those two for 6 months, until Zimmerman pulled the plug. the score will probably be the 3rd tier station if mac left.
