That's exactly what Terry seemed to be trying to say but he uh, eh, eh, look, he just couldn't get it out.

He cited TMZ as his source, now once again does he not think Icognitos agent was involved at all?

Brandon Marshall has done well with the tragedy-to-triumph, overcoming insanity re-branding bit.

Maybe Kid Cairo will also use that when he comes back here.

What Bernstein never really gives the Bulls credit for is actually having fans. the reason he can mock the cheering is that there are still fans there.

Very good ratings, near the top of the league in number of households, if I'm not mistaken. Bulls crowds are closer to 21,000, though.

They were 18k plus in the Tim Floyd years. Sellouts a lot of nights. Great fans for putting up with those teams. No other city would have.

Sorry I'm stuck in the 1980s. How to the ratings compare to other oddities like White Sox, Hawks, DePaul?

112,000 households last year for the Bulls, down 45,000 with the loss of Rose. 192,000 for the Hawks in last year's short season.

It's only terrible next to the local ratings for Canadian teams, where Toronto and Montreal exist in another stratosphere. I think Chicago is right next to Edmonton. You want terrible? The Charlotte Bobcats get 6,000 households. The Florida Panthers get 4,000.

EDIT: what might paint a better picture is that the Blackhawks average about 4.5% of all the TV sets in the market. When you think about all the things one could possibly watch in prime time, that's pretty good, I feel.

I'm talking about the Bulls ratings. Biggie was talking about how many fans they have. Like 60% of the number of Blackhawks fans?

I'm pretty sure if you just went out and asked people, there are more Bulls fans than there are Blackhawks fans, but more people are watching Blackhawks games right now because of the Bulls' general pointlessness.

BernSTINE is rarely correct in his verbal vomiting, you're cavalry charge is in direct response to the Mac and Meat Show being the best damn thing on sports radio, today.

I mean, of course Bulls ratings are going to be down. The hometown franchise player hasn't really played since April 2012. Even if Tom Thibodeau is willing the Bulls to victory with D.J. Augustin and Mike Dunleavy, you can't reasonably expect your television audience not to shrink considerably. The Bulls will always do well at the gate because people will always have the idea that a Bulls game is a fun/cool/in-crowd place to be. I can't say the same for the numerous NBA games around the league contested in funereal silence.

i'm pretty sure the houston astros and their nightly audiences of 1500-3000 would kill for those #s. it's all about relativity in the end, einstein!
