And sorry I was unclear but Pierre is going to be at the Hawks game at Soldier Field tomorrow. So... he won't be enjoying a game where Halas coached the Bears.

Pierre, was referring to watching Halas coach games at Wrigley, why he was there? I have no idea, but he did say he saw Halas paying kids to run on to Waveland to get the balls back on extra points. Seems to be a fact that you wouldnt know unless you were in attendance.

Either Pierre doesn't know where Halas coached or he doesn't know where the game is. No matter the choice, Pierre needs to be sent to Siberia.

I never knew why people put this guy on some mountain in terms of announcers. Will admit until 2010, I never heard of the guy. never cared about Hockey. The only real hockey announcing I knew was Pat Foley yelling "BANNERMAN"

Pierre is fine, he seems like a another guy. I guess he knows his hockey history, but that doesnt keep me awake.

Halas did coach the Bears at Soldier Field........they used to have College All Star games there. The winner of the NFL would play a bunch of College All Stars in the preseason. Albeit McGuire didn't know this ,but neither did any board members

Halas DID Coach a Regular Season game at Soldier Field, as the Visiting Team. The Cardinals played their final season at Soldier Field. The Bears clobbered them. A year later, the Football Cards were in St.Louis. The Bears also played the Armed Forces Benefit Pre Season Game at Soldier Field ever year through 1970(Dooley was the Coach in his 3rd season by then). Wrigley was never available since the Cubs were still in season,and they had to wait to put the temporary East Stands up in RF. THAT SAID, sorry about 'defending' Pierre McGuire--didn't mean to.
