Then he should ask his caddy to carry his clubs.

After 72 holes at the 2008 US Open, he was tied with Rocco Mediate, so they played an 18 hole playoff on Monday.

Then it is incredibly difficult to swing a golf club.

Its incredibly difficult to do anything when you have a bad tooth. I've had two of them, and its THE worst pain I've ever had to deal with. Also, withdrawing after 7 holes on Friday as Rory did in 2013 is a little different than withdrawing on hole #64 in the middle of a +5 round.

Its very clear Tiger no longer has the mental fortitude to dominate as he once did. He's not played well on the weekend in Majors for some time, and has even lowered his own standards for greatness. Maybe Tiger gets 1 or 2 more Majors over the next few years, but I don't believe he will ever threaten Jack's record of 18.

Why is it different?

Awfully convenient to leave out that Rory was in the middle of a +7 round.

Back pain can and usually is just as bad as tooth pain

And each swing puts tremendous stress on your back.

Nobody should care that anybody WDs from a tournament. We should be talking about how well Russell Henley played on the back 9, and the playoff hole.

Scottie Pippen is getting a migraine simply by reading this.

Frank, if a bad tooth is the worst pain you've ever had to deal with you are a very lucky individual when it comes to health.

As someone who has had 7 spine surgeries I can attest that there is nothing worse than back pain. It debiliates every movement and step you attempt to make. That said, as someone who regularly toughs it out after having 7 spine surgeries I can say with certainty that Tiger doesn't know what real back pain is and he's a huge pussy.
