Great series on the History channel about some of the most powerful men throughout US history. Carnegie, Rockefeller, Morgan, and Ford just to name a few (of course none of them earned their wealth ) I've seen it before, but it's on again this weekend. Interesting shit if you like history.

I can't answer for JORR, but I can tell you that even though I don't hate people with more money, I will be quick to point out the absurdity of any rich person who thinks they are harder-working or smarter than anyone else simply because they became rich (or were born rich). That was the argument in the Sam Zell thread.

Actually this is a good point. When I asked my first question I wondered. Should we now judge these guys by today's standards as they "built" this country? I am certain these fathers of America would never stand up to todays standards and maybe they couldn't get rich without say discrimination?
