. . . Ok, back to willing disbelief. 8)

The answer is pretty simple. Its because they're zombies.

Great episode. Nice reveal the way they showed that Judith was still alive...at least for now as long as what's her name isn't babysitting. Love what they are doing with the little psychopath girl, she is starting to act very similarly to a certain character in the comics. If that's the case then those of us who read the comics know what road she is heading down and its gonna be pretty intense.

Nice to see Carol back and with Tyrese of all people.

Also nice to see tara and Glenn together, she makes a good addition to the group.

And last but certainly not least, fuck yea to the final scene being an exact copy of the cover to issue #53 with Abraham, Eugene and Rosita.

I have a pretty good idea what Terminus is going to end up being and it should make for a great episode or two.

This new showrunner is a real sap.

This was the worst episode in the entire series.

It was pretty boring. I wasn't paying attention to half of it. Did Daryl tell what he did in the real world for work?

Watching now. I'm at the 38-minute mark and ready to delete the entire episode. Brutal.

The episode was ok. Heaven forbid they do a little character development on two characters we know almost nothing about.

But...it didn't really even seem like character development. I mean...they still have a 28 year old actress playing a character that is...17? 21? 28?

BREAKING NEWS! Daryl is a redneck that came from a broken home. Not like any previous episode or storyline has touched on this issue before.

This episode just seemed like it dumbed down everything. Beth being 'innocent / naive', Daryl having pent up resentment about his previous life... even the visuals were heavy handed. (Daryl and the 5-iron to the walker, with Beth "dirtying" her clean clothes.)

No comments about this week? Another snoozer. It's just hard to care about most of these characters.

It has been a bit of a drag. With only 3 episodes left they should reach Terminus or close to it just in time to
finish the season.

I liked it a lot better than last week. With only 3 eps left I have a feeling they are going to be wandering around like this for the rest of the season. In the end they'll probably have one group find Terminus and be in danger (no way that place is a good place with a name like Terminus) and the other groups be close by.

Next week looks intense, I'm predicting that Carol dies.

Did Daryl meet those ugly bad dudes BEFORE Rick escaped them or AFTER?

Hard to tell.

You need to get out of True Detective mode. This ain't that confusing. Darryl met those guys last episode, Rick escaped from them several episodes ago. There's no flashbacks involved.

they really need to go somewhere with this show. i know, its about zombies, but cmon it is getting horrible.

We're not seeing things in order. Daryl was almost certainly in the house when Rick was there. Those dudes downstairs were arguing and talking about bows.

No discussion of last night's ep? I thought it was pretty strong even though I knew what was coming. Also, that fire had to be the one that Daryl/Beth set at the house. More evidence that we are going to see these separate storylines are overlapping as they converge.

Definitely the best episode of the season's second half. I didn't see the girls demise coming
and definitely not quite like that but I am just fine with it anyway. They really didn't add a lot
to the storyline as far as I was concerned. I knew they had to kill off some of the group and
that was one hell of a way to do it. Doc, good call on the cabin fire. I hadn't considered
that until you mentioned it. Only two episodes left this season so I hope they make some
things happen. This show has lost a chunk of my interest this winter with some slow and
clunky episodes.

I thought last night's episode was great. Probably the best one since they returned the past few weeks.

Another thing to support your point above about Daryl being in the house when Rick was there, on Talking Dead after that one episode aired, they showed some behind the scene's stuff. They put up a blurb on the screen that Andrew Lincoln likes to do his own stunts whenever possible, and he was the one who climbed down from the roof, and not some stunt double. Apparently Norman Reedus (Daryl) was on the set when they were shooting this, and he was mooning him during this scene to try and mess up his take.

There had to be some reason why he was there. I doubt he would just be hanging out, so he was probably also doing some scenes in that house, that perhaps we will be seeing next week.

The more I think about it the more I think you are right, Darryl was probably in the house when Rick was there. Really interesting the way they've spliced up this half of the season chronologically. I guess Rick and Carl must've spent a lot of time in that house before meeting up with Michonne, that would allow for all this other stuff to have already happened.

Yeah, I think Rick was probably out for a couple days while Carl was zombie-tripping and pudding-hunting. Plus, we don't know exactly how long it took them to get there in the first place.

In all, I think this half of the season is only covering about 4 or 5 days as it is, maybe a week at most.

Ya gotta read this thread more intently.

Shakes, who seems to be all caught up with the comic book end of things, called it a few pages back: a character name "Ben" did the same thing to his own brother, and when this 'lil psycho chick mutilated those bunnies, the connection was quite easy to make.

I have read the comics up until maybe 8 months ago. I am not trying to figure the show out ahead of time
like you enjoy doing. I just let it come to me and then I can look back on it. I realize that they are taking
some elements from the comics but to me this is a different series than the comics.
