It's a really weird quirk for a white guy liking hip hop. I use replacement words even when Im alone. Feels weird, but whatever

When I am throwing down some rhymes, even if I am not with my homies, I substitute the word "Willis," in honor of the late Todd Bridges.

Todd Bridges is alive, homey.

What an upset that is.

Of all the people on Diffrent Strokes, Todd fucking Bridges is the sole survivor

That is greater than Villanova beating Georgetown.

Finding out that Todd Bridges did not die is like waking up and thinking you have to go to school, and then you realize it is Saturday, and you go back to sleep then get up, eat cereal and watch cartoons.

No way, Dudley's Dad the Giant probably accidentally killed him and Sam was a ticking time bomb with the Ginger hair, kidnapping, and living with the third version of a family. If he didnt OD, it would be an upset

JORR I am not bothered by the word. I was bothered by how comfortable a lot of people got posting the word. Some were enjoying using the word without anyone complaining. If you called me that next week you wouldn't get an angry response from me.

I just think worrying about the use of a word creates a false narrative about what racism really is and gets people focusing on the trivial rather than the important.

It's a generational & experience thing. I still am bothered by the word and most will get an angry response from me. It isn't trivial to me, nor do I think it gets people more focused on the trivial here. It shows either a lack of respect by the user or a bit of misguided familiarity except for a very select few people I'm close to.

Why is that? You're not that much older than me and I think we grew up in similar areas but our views are very different when it comes to a few issues dealing with race and the n-word is one. My sister went to school with you and whenever I rant about MLK she gets upset and it's the same way when it comes to all of the words. I think I share your views on most issues of race but the words really don't matter as much to me as they once did. I can say I evolved over the past 5 to 10 years. I would always get pissed to the point of wanting to fight or actually fighting but I realized I was giving that person and those words too much power over me. Maybe I'm just too soft now.

The joke was mean. Liza Minelli was the first woman I saw show her tits on the big screen in a movie:

of all the people who would bring up GG allin on the board, I really thought it'd be JORR. maybe one of the costanza/darko types.... but et tu brute? then shit on stage and fling it at paying crowd caesar.

now what do you know about bob flanagan? -D

Nothing, but did you know I'm an obsessive Frank Zappa fan? I mention only because GG makes Zappa look tame.
