That's right kids.... it's nigh time. By increasingly unpopular/indifferent demand, I present you with today's showthread. Sit back relax and strap it down as the CSFMB's favorite closeted Cubs fan on this side of Frank puts your veritable personal services contract in the drawer.... of life!

Also, does amattacola doing the 9-1 show today mean that we're going to have a show free of his interruptions/"Dan.... Dan.... Hey Dan..."s? Or, most likely, will he be around to give us his much needed perspective on this "Pour some out for Devin" Thursday?

Tune in and find out. Because you really don't want to listen to the Game. Nobody does.

Sini, are you behind the parody Grobstein twitter account?

No sir. I don't have any mults on this board, nor have I been on the twitter parody muscle for a few years. I sit back and watch the show.... personally I think whoever does "Gas Money Bob" is the one doing that "Not Les Grobstein" account. And IIRC doesn't Les have twitter space reserved @grobber33 in case he ever decides to go that route? I always wondered why he didn't, cuz back in the mid 00s during his Score-exile he tried to start up grobber.net and later grobbernet.com to be some sort of a hub for people to get their daily sports news along with that ATTITUDE. BITE. that comes from patronizing a "Les Grobstein Joint."

Alas, c'est la vie: it just wasn't meant to be.

So did Bernstein sell out the Poker room for tonight? Think he said yesterday was the last day to register.

Paul George is a superstar? I dunno, I guess it depends how you define "superstar."

Now its top 10 players in the league.

I would cap it at 5.

It is very sad hearing Dan beg for people to play poker with him - yesterday was brutal, and he's already starting with the "you should be fine just showing up (they will be), but do me a favor and email me your name so I can be ready when I show up there in a few hours." Does he have any idea that him being a condescending douchebag to callers / listeners might be the reason that people will find OTHER ways to donate money to deserving charities? He's such a miserable prick, that I would say that his charity suffers because of him being the front man......I'm not saying they don't get more money in because of his pulpit, but I'm saying that you could pick many other hosts and personalities that would have sold out that little room (for real) weeks ago.

It's too bad that he'll neither realize nor change his ways....he COULD really make an impact if he'd just stop being such a tool.

I have a problem with the idea of watching people play poker, a stance forged by strip poker games at school musical cast parties.

I'd like to blame Dan for making me root against a charity. Does their board not own a radio?

PS Spiegel really spent too much time in the AZ sun.

I would not be at all surprised to learn that he was wearing a satin "Starter" type jacket with "Schmutzie" on it.
