It seems to be lost footage. I checked the Royals site. Nothing. Sox site--nothing.

I watched CSN's highlighht show---nothing. They just said the Sox tied 6-6.

So it's not happening.

3 weeks from today is Opening Day for the Sox. Chris Sale against whoever the hell the Twins have pitching for them.

I just finished watching today's game on MLB network. Very disappointed Jose Abreu didn't play. Sale looks to be in mid-season form and unfortunately so does Alexei as he made an error and hit into a double play. Dunn looks awful. Gillaspie made some nice plays at third and Jordan Danks hit a home run off the straightest fastball you'll ever see. I'd like to see Danks as the 4th outfielder but Hahn has to make a move to let that happen. Hopefully that moves happens very quickly.

John Danks had another nice outing yesterday. Reports say his fastball was again 90-91 and he said he had much better command of his cutter. Both are very encouraging signs.

Phegley optioned to Charlotte  Seriously how bad can this guy be not to beat out Flowers?

I think Flowers, barring injury, always had the inside track. I think they view him as the better defensive catcher who, if healthy, may hit .220 (if he's lucky), but may can add 15-20 HR, and play decent defense. Neither Flowers or Phegley is likely any good, both are closer to bad, and I'm ok with them giving Flowers one last chance, it's not as if they have other options in the organization.

Agreed -- like it or not, this is another rebuilding year, and I think they've added a couple of good pieces to the equation with Eaton and Abreu... they will need to address catcher in the next year or two though. I think maybe it is easier too to live with Flowers if you are Dunn-free, but Flowers K's are headed up and up, and nothing else to go along with it. OPSing 600 shouldn't be enough to keep a spot in the majors.

Phegley had options. It's as simple as that. Last chance for Flowers.

White Sox released RHP Mitchell Boggs.

The $1M gamble didn't work out. Maybe they can sign him to a minor league deal and they can continue to try to workout his issues.

Jordan Danks and Davidson sent to AAA. Not sure why Jordan could not make it as the 4th OF on this team. Hell I'd even let Davidson learn at the big league level.

Clearly then, DeAza is the 4th OF, a role he is better suited for than leadoff man and CF. Still, Jordan Danks could have been used as a competent glove man to back up all 3 positions. I guess they feel they have enough utility types (Keppinger, Semien...hell even Leury if he makes the club) that they can throw in the OF if need be

Keppinger is out indefinitely with a bad shoulder, which is probably a good thing.
