McDonald's Mighty Wings. Sounds like a transgender prostitute. Maybe that's what they're going for. Transsexuals are a growing market share. They buy and shop for two.

Also, how the fuck would I know? Blindness doesn't really affect radio much. Like, if you want to highlight blindness as part of your ad, probably radio isn't the best medium.

Hey, everyone! Than Merrill of A&E's Flip This House has concluded that the Chicago market is a perfect location for his seminar!

I have never flipped a house in my spare time before, let alone while using someone else's money, but am pretty skeptical about it being able to be done successfully in anyone's spare time. From what I've seen on various house-flipping shows, include Than's, it looks like a full-time job and then some.

The "doing it with other people's money" part sounds too good to be true...but maybe I have to take the seminar?

Anyone know anything about this? Biggie?

I love how poorly they insert the location. We're looking for highly motivated people...IN-THE-ROCK-FORD-AND-JANES-VILLE-AR-E-A...to attend our seminar. Haha, silly bastards, no one's flipping houses in Rockford and Janesville. Who'd buy them?

There's one like that with a phone number, too, but I forgot the client.

Just heard a new Non-24 commercial with a woman. She basically said the same things that have been said in the other commercials but this one seems like it's about 1/2 as long as the others, especially the original which seemed like it went on and on and on.

That new McDonald's "FILET-OH-FISH!" jingle with the submarine sounds is quickly getting annoying. Although, I do like those things - they are tasty.

IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE IYE

That has to be a screwup, right? That can't possibly be how that ad is supposed to end. But, if so, why do they play it anyways?

Well, after several months of running an obviously-broken and wildly irritating commercial, they've finally fixed it. I've heard the unbroken version several times in the last several days. Well done, CBS. You're slightly quicker and more competent than Congress.

Interesting that at the end of the new ad with the woman, they state the name of the pharma company who is behind it.

I believe they always did (just like with ankylosing spondylitis), it's just that we were too bemused by "you can't see me because radio" to notice.

I don't hate this commercial, but the guy in the one for AT&T who voices the dad whose teens download and text obsessively kind of sounds like Ben Finfer.

"Why would we be upsizing?"
"Think of a four-letter word that rhymes with 'maybe.'"
"uhhhh"
"...baby?"
"ohhh"

Well, first of all, successful young professional and thus prospective BMO Harris Bank loan customer, congratulations on busting in your wife. I hope your kid flouts his genetics and grows up to be smart enough to rhyme "maybe" with "baby."

Just got off the phone with local gas company- my bill has been screwed up since falling ice broke the meter Feb of 2012. Turns out that Volunteer Energy, the discount sub-supplier to Michigan Gas Utilities for my service, has raised their rates due to the Polar Vortex. Was charged $1.599 per unit this month, could have gotten it from MGU at $0.41 per unit. Good thing I got "free" gas for a year plus, the last two months made up for it.

That commercial cracks me up. I like how they made no attempt whatever to make the lyrics rhyme. Also, the ending lyrics of "beats the other dealers by far" is just hilarious.
