The Nets beat the Heat last night. I don't know that Jason Kidd is a great coach, but the team is playing very well. It's looking like they might be as high as the 3 or 4 seed because they will likely catch the Bulls and Toronto.

The Bulls are probably going to be the 4th or 5th seed because Brooklyn is coming on strong. The Bulls might be able to beat them, but I would actually like the Nets chances against the Heat in the 2nd round if the seeds break the right way.

Seriously ?

Being 3-4 seed in east means nothing . This team is old n not good...they won't sniff any success anytime soon.

We gonna do it like this
Anytime you're ready, check it

I got seven Mack 11's, about eight 38's
Nine 9's, ten mack tens, the shits never ends
You can't touch my riches
Even if you had MC Hammer and them 357 bitches
Biggie Smalls; the millionare, the mansion, the yacht
The two weed spots, the two hot glocks
That's how I got the weed spot
I shot dread in the head, took the bread and the lamb spread
Little Gotti got the shotty to your body
So don't resist, or you might miss Christmas
I tote guns, I make number runs
I give mc's the runs drippin
when I throw my clip in the AK, I slay from far away
Everybody hit the D-E-C-K
My slow flow's remarkable, peace to Matteo
Now we smoke weed like Tony Montana sniffed the yeyo
That's crazy blunts, mad L's
My voice excels from the avenue to jail cells
Oh my God, I'm droppin shit like a pigeon
I hope you're listenin, smackin babies at they christening

Subconsciously, you are doing this for Jason Collins.

Jason Collins is a benchwarmer who will probably not play in the playoffs unless one of their big guys gets in foul trouble.

Watching last night's game if the Nets play like that every game against the Heat they will win.

if they consistently score more points than the Heat as they did last night, they will win

if the Nets win every game against the Heat, they'll win all their games against the Heat

I meant the series. Obviously you have to outscore the Heat. But the Nets managed to shoot a lower percentage than the Heat and still win the game. They won the game because Pierce and Teletovic shot 8 for 12 from three. Plus the Nets were able to stop Miami's transition game. The Heat and Nets had almost equal amount of turnovers and the Nets scored 5 more points off the turnovers.

The big 3 and Chalmers scored 79 points. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams combined for 14 points and the Nets still won. The Nets' bench is actually better than it was earlier in the season and Sean Livingston is looking more and more like a solid player.

The point is that Williams and Johnson can shoot 4-18 and the Nets can still beat the Heat. The Bulls can't have 2 starters shoot 4-18 and beat the Heat. The Bulls can't beat the Heat if 4 of their 5 starters combine for 79 points. However, the Nets can. If Pierce scores 20 to 30 points they have a shot at the Heat.

If the Heat are playing hard on D, there is no way the Nets shoot anywhere near 66% from the 3 pt line

Not necessarily. If you outscore the Heat by 25 points in game one, but lose each of the next 4 games by 4 points or less, the Heat win the series despite being outscored.

The game was not in Miami and the Bulls did not give up 79 points to the big 3 and Chalmers. If the Bulls give that up to the Heat, which the Nets did, there would be no way for the Bulls to win because they would struggle to outscore the Heat.

The point is that the Nets beat the Heat in Miami and they can play better. The Bulls beat the Heat in Chicago, but they can't play significantly better because they can't outscore Miami through traditional offense. They have to win defensively.
