Is Mike Esposito still there on weekends? They've been taking shots at him on Leery's show, so I suspect he's out too.

You guys are focusing on the wrong thing. It's not physical violence that stops Bernsie from being more than a little "hesitant"

When is the last time Berns was openly combative with somebody that
a). cared to engage?
b). had an open/equal "voice" - meaning a microphone and equal air time?

Never. Ever. He is surrounded by people that don't care or don't have a voice. Mac would cause Berns to wimper in the corner in less than 20 minutes of open debate.

Considering you do not even listen to the show I am not sure how you are so sure about this.

Also, Bernsie has been openly combative with meatpants and with murph.

But he does not seem nearly as eager to engage mac.

Lowrent Holmes used to take shots at Connor all the time. Seemed like LH was a bit threatened. This new contest guy actually had some talent and might pose a threat I suppose. Silly but that's what it sounded like.

Credit to Bernsie for ending the silliness. I distinctly recall LH trying to bait Bernsie into poking fun of Connor and Bernsie made it clear he had no time for that nonsense and quickly changed the subject. Following that, LH suddenly was a big fan and buddy with Connor.

More chickenshit BS from Mac. Do you not think that if he leaves, the rest won't open the floodgates on
ripping this over rated lazy addict?
I hope he goes "cottage" for the summer and Mitch gives the rest to go ahead a rip this sensitive POS. LOL
That will be must listen radio.

You really are quit obsessed and sad. Isn't just as easy to think that once Mac gets on another drive show clean sober and rested he is going to fire like a mother fucker. Oh wait yeah he did that once when he went to ESPN and started driving B&B into the fucking ratings mud for years. Hang up your posting phone.

To be fair he said other night he loves Connor and he is in his tree and also loves Hood a ton but just wants to crush them. Being fair to Larry off now.

from this I am taking that these are guys Leary sees as his direct competition? While I guess Hood is on at night I never considered him Learys competition.

Hell, I dont even consider leary having a real show.

If he has a full show, its 3.5 hours? correct? and he has such shows, 2-3 nights week? So his workweek at the Score is about 10-12 hours? Sounds more like Part time work to me

That's exactly what I said. He said something about them "going up against this." What is "this," exactly? The 20-minute show that airs four times a week once the Sox are back in full swing? The show that got bumped tonight for whatever CBB tournament the Score is carrying?

I caught some Hood the other night and thought he was damn entertaining. I also never got the urge to bath in bleach, the feeling I get after hearing Leery discuss anything about women "getting it."

HOOD THAT

Right. But in Larry's world he has a full boat A team show and competitors.

LOL just NOT going to happen. Mac is an addict and a lazy fucking fool.
He will end up staying at the score, at a far lower rate, and he will continue to complain, but NO ONE wants
a lazy addicted ahole for big money, no one. Not even the GAME. He's back on his old contract, anyone including the Score will include many clauses on a new deal.

SID, I think you are going to be wrong.

I think Mac will stay at the Score and if not for more money, more other other percs such as Vacation days. lol.

Even though mac is ready to do something else, and he might not even be aware of it, he needs a mic. I will argue it with him forever.

He claimed if he won the lottery he would be gone. Maybe from the Score doing a daily show, but I know he would look for some media thing. even if it was a fishing show. "Casting with Mac"

But I think you should look at what Zimmerman did with Steve Stone. Same dealio coming.

Except this time Mac is holding all the cards and the watch,

June 20? Gig is up....he will take all of july to negotiate and cut a deal to start Sept 1...somewhere

I agree that Mr. Lazy will stay, but not because others bid higher for him.
He's a useless POS and he likes to brag about what he has, well, most people aren't jealous of two short stays at rehab, we all know that nothing is fixed in a month. But Mac thinks it is, good for him.
Mac isn't holding any cards, they have him by the short ones. NO ONE ELSE will let him go on like he has.
The interesting thing will be if he does re-up, how will Bernsy treat him? Could be fun.

LOL

You don't think Wert and DeCastro wont be making him an offer? If not a major one? Especially if the get a new signal and want the big splash.

at least you see the battle coming if a new deal is done.

SID and others miss a big point. Money. Cash. Ratings. Mac brings and keeps sponsors for whatever else he may cause consternation with. B&B do numbers but besides pro flowers and pajamagrams what do they endorse. On stations Mac is on he is doing big business because sponsors want him and his demo.

What the hell do you think he is doing when he is talking testosterone, allen brothers meats, green egg grills and all of that shit? He is making sponsors and the station cash.

He is a professional broadcaster for all of his other faults. Bernsie treats this as a hobby and cause for crap. PSU, CTE and Gays are not making Rod money.

True but the market/talk is not trying to bridge a difference from 1.3 to 800k reduction in pay.

just listened to it. It was said in the context of Terry not being able to say something that might be offensive to the advertisers, and then Dan jumps in with "I will be glad when something else is gone"

I do not see any way in the world that had anything to do with Mac.
