Morning - wake up at 3am
Afternoon - once Mac left B&B were finally able to win that slot so mid-morning needed to be won.

Simple.

This is a weird thread. I'm not a Mac "guy" per se but I can't believe that there are two dedicated Mac haters on the board. What is it that Mac does/did that caused such sustained, seething hatred for him? Seriously, the worst that can be said about him is that he doesn't do hardcore sports talk and talks at great length about his love for classic rock. Some people are treating it like Mac farted in their breakfast and didn't apologize. What gives?

And no you don't need to point out that this board is full of Bernstein haters because with the exception of schmitty, I'd wager very few posters have issues with Bernstein's non-radio persona (whatever that might be).

I do not see any way in the world that had anything to do with Mac.

That's what I thought as well.

When is the De Paul broadcasting contract up?

What does he have to gain?

Radio wars are a tried and true ratings grabber. Dahl v. Lujack, Stern v. everyone, etc.

One of the biggest "radio" events since I've been on this board was when Mac and North finally decided to have a conversation on the air about the happenings at the Score.

It was somewhat of a letdown looking back, as would a Mac/Berns debate - but it moves the needle.

Bernstein would never do that face to face because Bernstein is a 'classic bully'.

Yeah. Bernstein pretty much takes Mac's jabs. He acts like it doesn't bother him. It does. It's boiling up with Bernstein.

This should be Mac's move in their next tranny:

Mac: The other day you said that you would have to wait a few months to take a shots at a Score employee. You clearly meant me. Why wait? What do you want to say to me?

Bernstein: Oh...I...uhh...no...I wasn't talking about you.

Mac: Bullshit. Pussy. I guess I'll wait until June to hear it. You'll get muscles the day after I'm fired.

Terry: Eeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I agree it was hyped and I think Mac was ready to "TALK" about it, but like everything else, I think NORTH fucked it up. North figured he finally got his 2 seconds on the air and started to fire right away and bitch and Mac had to end it.

Mac enjoys uncomfortable radio, so he looks for it every once in awhile.

i first thought the jab yesterday was in reference to Mac... but thinking now about it, Bernstein is usually never that obvious (save Murph).... so perhaps it wasn't about Mac.

in general though listening to matt abattacola argue with Dan is brutal, perhaps if someone with a brain engaged Dan on some of Dan's BS comments statements it would be more enjoyable

Radio tough guys < Internet tough guys

At least on the Internet (message boards) you know that if you want to take a few jabs you're going to get a few back at you, start making roundhouses and you get a group that will gang up on you. Radio, at least the way Señor Columnist uses it, allows him to jab away and make the roundhouses, and when the fight comes he can run and hide like a real pussy. The same with Twitter and how he initially responded to texts to the station by permanently blocking them. It was Mac who called him out on that and got it changed to where he couldn't block people permanently.

Mac excelled in afternoon drive even though he was attached to a boat anchor.

What is this Schmitty thing?

That guy who called Dan's kids ugly.

I went to college with a guy who referred to himself as Schmitty. He was an assbag. Probably the same miserable prick.
