Hawks vs. Nashville.

Where are the gays? What the fuck?

Down 2-1, 2nd intermission.
Need a big play? Kruger with ANOTHER stupid penalty. That's like 2 in 2 games or as we say in the biz Versteegian.

Yeah... but the feed Cap gave him was like a guaranteed goal... but he didn't take it. It was weird.

Terrible shot by Sharp.... inexcusable. That cost this team the game.

Hawks pretty much averaging 2 goals scored per game since the Olympics, which isn't good enough for the NHL. They're proving me right that they're capable of losing to anyone.

Even Troy Murray is giving up on this team's ability to care.

They just lost to arguably the best goalie on the world. And they had about a dozen great chances in the 3rd.
They looked uninspired and bad in the first 40 minutes. That has to change.

I think I've converted to your Blackhawks religion, CH.

This team is bad.

Like, really bad.

Is this where I point out you can't have an opinion because you don't watch every game?

That last part has always been my worry more than any lack of talent. They have talent to spare. There are just too many nights that they don't give a fuck. That Sabres game should have been 8-1. This was the same problem with the 2012 team. Just not a lot of effort most nights. Compare with 2010 and 2013, where they were balls-out pretty much all the time.

They will give a fuck in the playoffs. I know you think this season is all but over. But no one in the Western Conference is a world beater. The Hawks can beat any of them. They are in a bad stretch, it happens.

I agree with this. There are no guarantees, but I'm not scared yet.
This team had more players in the Olympics than any other team, and yet their goalies sat dormant for 3 weeks. That's a bad mix.
They CAN "turn it on for the playoffs", but now I need to see that they still can.
This is a good time of the year to have a "down period".

Sharks have quietly moved ahead of everyone while the Hawks have been tripping over their dicks for six weeks.

Who cares? They are still beatable.

You act as if every other top team in the West are the 1980s Edmonton Oilers.

The Hawks will be just fine. Sometimes great teams stumble. It happens to all good teams in all sports.
