I've noticed over the years that a lot of styles of shoes I had as a yute have been coming back either in
a close to original form or mixed and melded with something and made a bit more modern. I have no
problem with them bringing back the old Jordans, I just haven't taken the plunge to buy any. Anyway
I saw a few old pair that I really got sorta sentimental about a few weeks ago including the Air Revolutions
and some old Barkleys. Post some shoes on here that you would like to see them bring back but you
haven't seen re-released to your knowledge. Hell even if there are some that you have seen re-released
that you thought were cool go ahead and post those too.

Image

Picked these up in 1993 or 1994 when I was working at Foot Locker part time as a senior in high school.
Ugly yes, but probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I am surprised they don't consider
bringing them back in some even gaudier colors like the kids all wear today. ( Nike Air Huaraches )

Image

Never owned a pair of these but I liked them back in the day and thought it was a good look as a football shoe.
Saw them at a Finish Line a few weeks back.

Guilty as charged. With all of the basketball on this past weekend I went into the way back machine and
was thinking about all my old shoes. Nike has done a lot of recycling of the old styles but just figured I
would see if anyone else had some they really liked and wished would come back.

Bagels wasn't sure if you were joking about the pumps. I actually had two different kinds. When I
had that job at Foot Locker I got a free pair of the Shaq's with a gun that took CO2 cartridges to fill up
the shoes. Never wore them once.

Image

I also owned a pair of these 2nd generation Nike pump gunboats. It was like playing basketball with
workboots on.

Those were too busy for me. I sported the classic Magic/Bird leather Cons.

 I didn't see my thread unfolding quite like this. My #15 seed is now clearly justified and I shall be

holy shit RPB, now that i see this picture i remember that i totally rocked these back in the day ('zo guy aka hornets all the way (jordan/bulls didn't count cuz.... #comeonson), setting the stage for when i saw vladimir guerrero bat and became an expos fan right there on the spot) and yeah, i wouldn't have remembered that unless i saw these pictures. thanks for reminding me.

other kicks i rocked back in the early 90s:

i had these but purple trim/2ndary-color instead of that tacky red/pink/salmon color; whited out tho
Image

i had these blacked out w/a touch of blue trim (with the inner-boot black... and i felt like a chump because i didn't have the pump)
Image

i always liked the black and silver version of the 4s... never got 'em tho. the repress "black cat" version = what i would rock if i had stupid $$$ for shoes (and would totally consider getting a $40 bootleg pair of if anyone knows a good place to get fake mikes from)

would you really rock those, miz?

i'm down with the whole production except that B-K logo in the diamonds is corny as fuck. that's a borderline dealbreaker for me right there (depends if it was a good price or not, cuz i've got a lot of white-on-black/black-on-white shirts i could rock those with)

Doc Martens from the UK and not Korea...

My parents actually bought these for me when I was in 5th grade. I believe they were $105 even then.
Yes, I was spoiled rotten.

It is kind of funny that had the NBA not made these illegal the Air Jordan craze may not have happened in such a meteoric way.

It was made with spandex and weighed almost nothing when shoes were like bricks. Also, neon green in the 80's!
