You know, it's kind of comforting to know that for ever single conceivable perverted fetish possible there would be a like minded group available on the internet.

Would any fathers allow their 10 year old son to bring a girl lunchbox to school?

I'd have to think about it myself. Forcing masculinity on someone who might not be a masculine person would contribute, as I alluded to earlier, feelings of depression and increasing confusion. I wouldn't want to be the guy to de-gay my son thru force. I wouldn't want him to get beat up, but I like this kid's moxie. He's taking a beating and he's still keeping his fucking lunchbox. Good for him. Brave little fucker and I would LOVE to see my kid have that kind of conviction at age 10 instead of falling for herd mentality.

That's very noble of you. I wouldn't give my son the option. He'll have to find other ways to express his individuality.

I agree with you in principle. I don't think I could do that in reality, though.

Who says you have to force masculinity? What's wrong with a gender-neutral lunchbox?

Well, I don't know if I would actually be able to do this. I don't have a pre-gay son or any son for that matter so who knows what would happen. Just my "no kids, just a cat" opinion.

Noted. Allow me to rephrase... forcing his hand in general with an eye toward gender social norms?

When my son was born I punched him in the chest. I told him to toughen up when he cried.

That was one of my son's first gifts but I'm against bullying. I don't see the problem. Identify the bullies, suspend them. End of story.

I completely agree. That being said my son would have to get bullied for another reason.

Do kids get enrolled in pre-gay before or after pre-K?

I don't know if that's completely true. They say they understand why he is getting made fun of but then the mom justifies it by saying it's promoting friendship, there's no bad words, there's no violence, it's hard to find that, even in cartoons now. MLP is pretty simple and in many ways shallow.

I'd be more on board if they said we know this is different but it's what I like.

It's never good to highlight differences at this age. You can be yourself but find things you have in common with others. Nobody in his class is going to call him up and say let's play my little pony and I'm guessing that's including girls.

Him getting beat on and bullied is unacceptable.

I had hello kitty, Care Bears, Dukes of Hazzard, and Gremlins lunchboxes. The last 2 were different, I did okay.
