I'm still getting pumped for this show on 9/10. I can't wait. I saw some of the setlist from the opening show of the tour, and it's everything you could ever hope for. I suspect I might be the only one from here representing, but you never know

It was Stevie or Ween for me. I'd really like to go, I frickin' love Stevie Wonder. Though, if the setlist includes "I Believe", I'd probably be a sniffling, snotty mess.

Baku, you never cease to amaze me. I'm a big fan of Stevie Wonder. My mother practically raised us on Stevie. Where is he performing?

I was actually going to go, but decided to go to the Flaming Lips on 9/07 and didnt have funds for both shows. Let us know how it is

For sure. This is hilarious to me, simply because I've seen the Flaming Lips probably more than any other band I've seen live (has to be over 10 times) and Stevie hasn't toured in over 20 years and has only played the occasional festival. With a smaller size venue (he could be playing the World or United Center) I consider this a once in a lifetime opportunity

Charter One Pavillion @ Northerly Island. I've never been, although i almost made it to the Rock the Bells tour there last Sunday. I really wanted to but I was short on cash.

Yeah doesnt sound like much of a choice for you, I have only seen the Lips 3 times, and I already made plans for the show before hearing about the Stevie Wonder show

I forgot about Stevie for a long while while taking my musical journey through the hair bands of the 80's & grunge of the 90's, and must credit High Fidelity for the reintroduction to the man's work.

Songs in the key of life is a masterpiece.

Anyone know of any places to eat by the Charter One Pavillion? I've never been to this venue before and not all that familiar with the area, not sure of whats around there.

I like I wish, but will always remember him first and foremost for his guest appearance on The Cosby Show.

You can stand on the beach right behind the pavillion, and hear the music perfectly.

Definitely got my money's worth. Played for almost 3 hours. Toward the end he was pulling everything out of the bag, I can't think of one song that was noticeably absent.

Jesse Jackson dancing on stage at the end was weird....he's got about as much rhythm as Tipper Gore

So he played "Ebony and Ivory"? Awesome!
