I ate at Cooper's Hawk last Friday and enjoyed my food. Their craft beer selection left a lot to be desired.

I made a post a while back about how my Wife wanted to try Coopers Hawk. I wasn't interested as their is a Mortons right across the street from the CH on Freedom Drive in Naperville that she wanted to go to. Like all good Husbands, I gave in & agreed to make a reservation here & I was very surprised how fresh & good the food was. They have a Thai lettuce wrap appetizer that is out of this world & a great Bloody Mary too. I fully admit to being a food snob & Mrs. Scorehead & I go out to eat a lot usually to nice joints like Gibsons, McCormick & Schmicks, Chop House, Etc...& I was shocked how good the food was at CH. A couple of other guys here said that they recently changed their menu. Great place for Wine too.

In addition to what others have said, Cooper's Hawk has become a metaphor for what the Cubs experience might become if they moved to the suburbs.

Anything suburban is totally uncool and beneath certain people so they bitch and moan about certain suburban "standouts" yet they claim to never have gone. Those that do admit it's "pretty good!" But then go on to say that it wasn't "totally terrible" in a vain attempt to remain cool and aloof.

Closing time, time to roll to Chili's and chow down with my, fucking boys!

I loved during tranny when Mac suggested that Dan ignore twitter and just watch the Hawks game.

Dan acted like that was something he had never considered before. "I guess that's something I could do".

Dan ripping on Pearl Jam, which is fine. I love 'em, but to each his own. But when asked who he likes, he says Vampire Weekend.

Pearl Jam isn't bad in and of themselves, in fact they're often pretty good, but I hold them largely accountable for the wave of forgettable post-grunge sludge that dominated "modern rock" since the mid-1990s and still persists today. Creed, Nickelback, Hinder, all the sins of Eddie Vedder. Mostly, I don't understand how they're a cult band. I get Phish as a cult band, but Pearl Jam? It'd be like making a lifestyle out of seeing the Goo Goo Dolls.

Rockstar by Nickelback is better than any song Pearl Jam ever made.

I would have bet my bottom dollar that he would have NWA loaded up as the stock answer to any white person who asked him that question.

I used to follow PJ. They drastically vary their setlist from night-to-night. Saw them close the Spectrum in 2009. They played four shows over five nights and had exactly one song repeat over the four concerts. Can't blame PJ for all the awful acts they spawned. Blame Scott Stapp, what'shisfacefromNickelback, and Aaron Lewis for being so bad.

Their setlists are posted on the band's website and Twitter account. Unless I'm missing the joke here.

That was great. Bernsie totally ignores the shot and keeps going.

This is going to be a fun few last months.

I can come up with at least six or seven really good Pearl Jam songs. I can come up with zero really good Vampire Weekend songs.

Eddie Vedder sings like he hasn't taken a dump in 2 weeks & has been eating glass. Keep it.

Monday: Briefly jump into the car, hear Dan explain that while in Cabo (on vacation) he had Internet problems so he had to contact his PD to let him know that he wouldn't be "live Tweeting" the Bears. He isn't paid to do it, hasn't been asked to do it, but felt compelled to tell his boss that he wouldn't be doing it. Is it necessary? No. Hell No.

If you can't watch and enjoy the game without Twitter, then you really don't know how to watch or enjoy the game.

My thoughts are probably shaped by hearing "Jeremy's spoken" about 15,000 times too many.

It's "Jeremy spoke in." Guess you need another 15,000.

There's no good reason not to use a serial comma.

It's not my fault the song is unintelligible.
