Mac has a tendency to be melodramatic and reactionary, but he is basically saying the season is over. Kane won't be back and if he is, he won't be himself. It's gonna be impossible to beat to beat Colorado without a 100% Kane.

The gays last night didn't seem too concerned. With the high from last night setting down a bit, is there any more pessimism about the Hawks chances now? Seems to me that whole it obviously sucks that he got hurt, he should be back and the Hawks should be fine.

Just a way for Mac to become a Blues bandwagon fan for the playoffs.

I think Kane is going to be fine. The time off is going to do him a world of good both physically and mentally.

Mac isn't being overly dramatic. The agent said at least 2 weeks and Q said 3 weeks. The Colorado playoff series was going to be tough with Kane. Even when Colorado was garbage they'd give the Hawks fits. If Kane isn't 100% or near there we're in trouble.

I'm not afraid so much of St. Louis as much as Colorado or Anaheim. Those two give the Hawks fits and St. Louis will be missing Tarasenko for 6 weeks.

I understand it's a pretty big concern. Mac was literally playing funeral music on the show. That's not being overly dramatic?

Was at the game last night, great game but definitely had a black cloud hanging over it with the injury. For the rest of that period I spent more time watching him on the bench to see if he would go down the tunnel than I did watching the game.

Btw, not good communication between the Hawks and whoever runs the games they play at intermission. 15 minutes after the injury they put Kane's parents on the kiss cam. Needless to say they basically told the camera to fuck off.

Big Daddy Kane should've punched him like he was a cabbie.

Of course there's going to be a little concern. However, I'm blindly optimistic just because it's Kane. I just got a feeling that he heals well. I expect to see him back on the 2nd to last or last game of the season and ready to go for the playoffs.

The Hawks are undefeated when the hockey gays get together at Fox & Hound for elimination games.

Just saying.

INJURY UPDATE: Matt Duchene (knee) will be out roughly four weeks.

Our playoff series will be a battle of 3rd and 4th liners to see who will advance to get pasted by the Blues!

Hawks will get pasted by no one.

If Crawford is the guy from last year's playoffs they won't get pasted. If he plays like he has this year they're a first round out.
