Yeah, and that They Ready song is a great example. It was obviously originally gonna be just Cole and KRIT (hence the country part in the chorus) but Kendrick ended up coming in and murdering em as usual. And J. Cole and Krit both have good verses.

it was definitely a little weird...i liked Kendrick's verse and i liked it the verses overall but im not really a fan of that country/southern style beats

That DJ Khaled album is pretty good.

I like the evolution of producers putting out their own albums with a bunch of different rappers. Seems to be happening more and more.


Yeah, Im not big on the southern country rap either, but KRIT is good enough to make me listen.

KRIT, OutKast, and Ludicris are the only ones who have been good enough where I liked it
