You said "millions of cases"

It can't happen to anyone. I have a better chance of being hit by lightning.

So should i avoid hospitals? I mean, that's what I'm already trying to do.

These are only united states cases, which I am sure you are aware does not wholly encompass the human population and also that is only one year of cases, and as AIDS has been around longer than a year, I don't think it's a stretch to extrapolate that number.

No, I'm not saying that it's something that happens everyday, although it happens about 10-15 times a day in the US alone, but the broader point is that the human immune system cannot fight off every disease. The point is that our health is totally and completely interconnected as a society, and that the suppression of disease is largely accounted for by what's called Herd Immunity, which is being undermined by people who treat modern medicine like something to be afraid of. It reminds of of people like that Snake Salvation fella, who is now resting comfortable I suppose. When folks like you decide to damage the overall immunity of the society, it is troublesome to people like me.

Your choices are your choices, and you will have to live with the knowledge that you're undermining the health of the population at large due to your fear which is largely unfounded. If you can live with the fact that your behavior ultimately cost human life then I say you do whatever it is you need to do.

I give up. Seacrest and his family have solved the problem of health issues. Unfortunately, I will have to rely on science based medicine since I don't know if I am as lucky.

So if I'm reading this doc right, cancer didn't exist before plastics and processed food?

Don't forget about incorrect breathing.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't cancer is ever fully "cured." I thought it just went into remission but could pop up again at almost anytime.

Ah, so incorrect breathing causes cancer too. Well, I guess that could explain the pre-plastic and water bottle cases of cancer recently discovered in ancient Egypt. They were breathing too shallowly.

I've always wondered just who the fuck "they" is. I've hung around the racetrack long enough to know that "they" always love one horse or another, so I'm guessing "they" like to gamble.

My parents always use that word. "They say it's good to eat eggs every day." Who the hell is they? Is there a study with a particular scientist? Nope. Just "they." And by God, "they" are right.

"They" are the AMA and the folks from JAMA.

And I'm still waiting for the explanation of how immunized people are ending up with the measles.

Statistics show that each year, in the United States, approximately 195,000 people die because of medical errors. [1][dubious – discuss] The study notes that about 1.14 million patient-safety incidents occurred among the 37 million hospitalizations in the Medicare population over the years 2000-2002. Hospital costs associated with such medical errors were estimated at $324 million in October 2008 alone

You've gotten the answer, but it probably is too sciency for you to believe.

Vaccines are not always 100% effective. That is why the concept of herd immunity is so important.

Well, your other option is to forever swear off doctors and hospitals. I want you to pledge right now that you will never go to a doctor or hospital again. Otherwise, stop bringing up useless things that aren't logical. No one says modern medicine is perfect, including modern medicine. If your breathing coach is better able to keep you alive then stick with him. Just don't rely on doctors and hospitals when you need them like he did when he literally had his tumor removed by a doctor and then claimed his recovery had to do with taking deeper breaths.

(a) False Equivalency

(b) the citation you chose (presumably from Wikipedia ... nice citation of your source by the way) finds the claim DUBIOUS .... I'm guessing you find that word to be a sign of comfort given the dubious nature of your other medical beliefs.

It is if you can't understand the concept that most medical procedures are not 100% full proof.
