Of course it is. Most college basketball fans ignore the NBA completely.

This game should be fascinating. Kentucky does have the greatest recruiting class of all time out there. If Calipari can't even get to the Sweet Sixteen this is a massive failure.

Granted last Noel got hurt last year, but wasn't that also the greatest recruiting class of al time and lost in first round of NIT?

This current class has six 5 star recruits. That class only had three 5 star recruits.

Based on the rankings, there has never been a class close to this Kentucky one.

This game is better than the greatest game in NBA history.

How is NIU the only school in state to offer Van Vleet when he was in high school?

I have no idea what the Wichita St. coach said, but it sounded like he wished he had more time in the cab with the sideline reporter...

I don't know man. Early looks to be as good as anyone in the tourney. Their PG is pretty darn good. Baker. Wiggins.

Looks like the idea of getting 6 of the top 15 freshman in the country has been validated as a good idea. Hopefully my coach is watching.

KU should pull a Popovich and put their 5 worst players in here.

This is probably my favorite first weekend of the tournament ever. Luckily, my wife has been working for most of it, so I'm not being Frank Coztansa'd and I get to watch.

Darrell Waltrip just gave a shoutout to the Kentucky Wildcats for beating Wichita St. On the NASCAR broadcast.

I feel sorry for Wichita State. I don't know if any other team would have been able to beat Kentucky today. Clearly, they didn't deserve that matchup as a #1 seed.

I agree. There just isn't another 4 days in sports that are better. The TV remotes are getting a workout today.
