The last Stars uniforms, the black ones that just said "DALLAS" like a basketball jersey, were the worst in the league. The ones with the big star on them (and members of Big Star) were okay, but clashed with the logo, and dark green doesn't go well with black. The ones they had before that and in the last years of Minnesota sucked. So the last time they looked good was their Cup run in 1991.

Regarding Teuvo Teravainen, I'm really struggling with Finnish phonetics and orthography here. It's pronounced "TAY-vo," we've learned. But people who make sure to get people's names right refer to Teemu Selanne as "TAY-moo," so how is it that "ee" and "eu" make the same sound in Finnish? I was made to believe that Finnish was actually fairly easy once you learned the rules. Clearly, I disagree.

I'm keeping my expectations low. He has never played on North American ice. I find this promotion uncharacteristically desperate and irresponsible.
