Apparently Les is now denying that he shit his pants yesterday morning? I thought it was pretty well established that he SHIT all over the floor of the Score studios and ran out?

Seriously though, a guy sitting in a chair for 5 hours and pounding coffee so he doesn't fall asleep. It was just a matter of time before something like this happened.

 What? I drink a lot of coffee and sit in a chair in the mornings and I haven't shit myself once. Yet.

But you can probably get up at any time and relieve yourself. Les probably thought he could make it through another segment, but then ran out of time. Should have just let his producer take over, and he could have ran to the can.

It really doesn't seem that complicated to me. Maybe it's different when you're old. But I've never let the situation get so dire that I wasn't able to make it to the bathroom. There's no excuse on Grobber's part. Turn it over to a producer, throw it to commercial, play a previously recorded segment, etc. Every single option Les had was better than shitting himself in the middle of the station.

He'd never live it down.

Is it possible someone else is to blame?

Maybe Les can give his account...

I agree. This should never happen to anyone under the age of 90. I'm just theorizing as to what probably happened.

Part of me wants to applaud Grobber's dedication to his craft, that he would risk shitting himself to stay on the air, but part of me wonders what the point of that dedication even is. It's sort of the feeling you have when someone shows off his exquisitely detailed model train set.

Really? Les is trying to go with the "It wasn't me" approach? Wow. That's like a child.

Les, you diffuse this situation by making fun of yourself. Once you show that you're upset about it, the Score guys will go harder. Now that you've denied it, it will be even worse.

He denied the coffee spill, too.

We know Mac and Meat have done it. Meat even said on the air yesterday something to the effect of "Just own it, man. We've all done it accidently at one time or another"

This seems disturbing and not accurate at all to me. Only one adult that I know personally has ever done this, that I know of. Is this more common than I believe? It seems incredibly irresonsible, gross, and very easily preventable. Do some people really not have a good idea when they're about to involuntarily shit?

It's not possible. Mac said Mully got it on his pants after sitting in the chair that Les just sat in.

Does a shart qualify? Or full-on shitting only? You have to admit you've had a time where you had more than a fart deposited into your Hanes. Just slippage.

A few years ago when I was driving to Minneapolis I had the urge to drop a deuce right after passing the last rest stop before I got into the city...I thought I was gonna be ok so I went ahead and kept driving right to the hotel...checked in and made it to the elevator but once I started walking towards the room the pain hit me so hard that I literally fell to the floor in agony...but I still held it in.

So I'd be curious to know his state right before he supposedly shat himself...if he was keeping it together and he all of a sudden shat, well, he's got nerves of steel.

:salut:

See that's what I'm talking about. Everybody has had close calls like that. I would do almost anything to not shit myself. I guess it's just not a big deal to some people though.

My mom has shat herself before. She just doesnt have the control. She goes from not having to shit to being in desperate need of a toilet within 3-4 minutes.

Had a friend shit all over himself once but he was blackout drunk.

Hey Brogue, I feel like we won't be able to poke fun at Lara Mondae's live reads without adding "but at least as far as overnight radio hosts go, she hasn't..."

One of our guys on the East coast has shat & sharted himself numerous times, & it has become almost a comedy routine for him at our meetings. Funny stuff. I've heard the stories a dozen times but they are still hilarious.

I haven't gone in my pants since I was a yute.

i poo a ton

i've recently pooped myself 2 times, once on vacation where i couldnt find the bathroom light it was pitch black and i was unable to hold it in (So close)

another time it was essentially a shart, so unexpected and it wasnt that big a deal other than soiled clothing

the score should have an emergency interview ready at all times for one man shows... that way when a sudden urge arises you just play some interview another show did earlier in the day.... and hosts dont have to risk holding it in like Les was unable to do so

Could Les have just let one of the usual callers ramble on and on while he took care of bidness?

I mean, Les does listen to this show....right?

He probably could have gotten up and had 5 minutes of dead air, and nobody would have noticed.

I tip my cap a little to Les for having the "ah fuck it, not my problem" attitude after shitting himself. Most normal human beings would freak out and clean it up. The "fuck it my is shift's over" inaction leaving Dustin Meatball cleaning it up is hilarious.

Who the fuck runs away like that?!?!

And why was that chair still there for Mully to sit in? Wouldn't you replace that chair?

I assumed that this is a confirmation that Les does his show sans pants.

And how do you not notice a chair is covered in shit before you sit down? Every answer in this story leads to more questions, and they are all hilarious. Funniest shit I've heard in awhile.

This occurrence also got me thinking how nasty working in a radio studio must be. The 670 studio sometimes is occupied 24 hours straight. They've admitted radio and newspaper people are primarly dirty creatures. So you'd be baking in a shit infested, fart baked, burping coughed up enclosed space. Not to mention they seem to be constantly eating so there are crumbs everywhere to invite mice and bugs.

Woof.

Seriously, none of this adds up at all unless Les does the show in shorts, which I doubt

I guess maybe it came out the top in the back? That seems like a longshot in more ways than one

I think the most logical explanation is Les didnt know he left a mark and by the time he found out (12 hours and several thousand jokes later) it was too late to own up. He goes deny, deny, deny.

If I was Les' lawyer Id be throwing out the possibility that someone who doesn't like Mulligan did this on purpose
