In order to soothe my frayed nerves due to Nas' ersatz king making in Brick's tourney of sadness ,I've been whisked away to Nashville for a few days. Anyone have any recommendations on food, things to do, can't miss places? Here till Wednesday. L

Check out Lower Broadway. It's filled with lounges and famous bars... and of course bourbon and live music. Last time I was there, we just walked around that area and hut up the lounges. It was a great time.

They have a full-size replica of the Parthenon, which is kind of cool.

Here's a BBQ joint we ate at that was decent:

Nashville & the surrounding areas are great. We considered buying a place their & still might. There has been a big influx of people from Chicago & Northern cities moving to TN. Cheap as hell to live there too. The older I get the more I think that perhaps living in TN, NS, SC, FL, WY, or MT is the way to go. First I need to get all of my kids out of the house...for good.

I could see it. Cheap lobster whenever you want out in Halifax.

Wyoming, though? What in the fuck are you going to do in Wyoming? Raise cattle? Cook meth?

I think he's referring to Northwest Wyoming near the Montana and Idaho borders where Yellowstone and Jackson Hole are.

I'd go with Tampa. They have a Cooper's Hawk.

One of my all-time favorite films. In my mind, it's one of the two great American coming-of-age movies along with Dazed and Confused.

 Sorry. Mrs. Scorehead and I spent the weekend downtown and that was a Vodka impaired post. I meant to say NC.

Look, jackass fans sucks. But when your downtown revolves around drinking then you're kinda asking for this type of shit. It's like when the hillbilly Florida beachtowns complain about Spring Breakers.

One would think that racist hockey fans would be welcomed with open arms in Nashville.

It seems to be the place to go for packs of aging women. I'm sure the young country singers are happy to fulfill dreams for a free night of drinking and a quick lay.

I have heard stories which make me uncomfortable. This means the stories I didn't hear would most likely make me angry.

I assume each woman comes home from the weekend and tells her husband one story about what one of the other women did in order to throw her husband off the track of what she did.

but its all innocent

That's pretty much the group I'm going with. I don't think there will be any shenanigans and I don't see how it's much different than a golf/fishing/Vegas trip. Tell me the stories.
