M'eh .... from the buildup I was half expecting to see femur flecks flying feverishly o'er the field .... if I didn't know all the awful details I wouldn't think anything much beyond than 'poor fella had a hard time standing up'.

Turth be told, it looks worse at the angle from the pitchers mound. Still, not a terribly grusome looking break. Just looks.....ew. I cringe when he tries to walk on it...

He also has had some kind of bone cancer in the past, hope they don't find anything worse than a broken leg.

Ive never seen a snap or break like that with zero impact. Its like he moved his leg an inch to the right and it fell off.

Right. It's the slowest break ever. But you know it's broken when it happens.

Maybe the MLB will change their policy of letting hitting coaches catch the first pitch going forward...
