That is good and not his fault. The fans and media made such a god/chosen one of Prior. More than Wood. I hated him and rooted for him to fail. When I read the story a couple years ago of his comeback attempts and grounding I felt shame. But true not Rizzo's problem he is their guy traded from BOS/SD/ to here. Agree. I'm not sure either play that was reviewed was "conclusive" BECAUSE Of the review. Just ruins the vibe of the game...but I can understands the benefits in certain big games / situations. It needs to be tweaked to something more like college football does IMO.

Plus baseball players don't "control" the ball. I was listening to the radio during the Adam Eaton play today and DJ was saying what a big problem MLB is going to have with that type of play because outfielders don't really catch the ball. The ball hits their mitt and they roll it to their hand. A slow-mo camera will show the ball is moving but that doesn't mean he didn't catch it. The same thing is going to happen on double plays. Middle infielders hands move too fast to ever "control" the ball. Umpires are going to overturn plays that shouldn't be overturned. They should just review home runs and leave everything else to the umpires.

I think Rizzo has some red ass in him and I am fine with it. Now he can learn to hit lefties. He did get plunked twice tonight, but that is because the book on him is go inside.
