The best part about living in the Pirates market and moving to the brewers market is that it is easy to watch baseball and avoid the cubs at the same time. When they blow like this I would rather just watch a stat tracker or check the box score.

Pretty much now until the end of May I have school and coaching. Plus hopefully Bulls/Blackhawks playoffs. Before you now it Bears are in camp and my football season starts.

I had to sit through the Khalad El-Amin/Ron Mercer Bulls years. I still watched almost every game. As an official arbiter of such things, I hereby declare you still a Cubs fan if you watch 81/162 games. That is a fair and lenient sentence.

Anyway, I cant blame DS. I havent watched much in the last couple years. Hoping this year that will change.

I caught about 3 innings last night and I enjoyed it well enough. Jackson was pitching pretty well and
Pittsburgh has one hell of a stadium. I haven't watched more than a handful of Cubs games the last
few seasons but i am going to give them a chance this year. I even bought some decent tickets for
an upcoming game in May at Wrigley. Frustrating to see them leave so many men on base but I
have to think it will get a little better and excited to see if the young guys can step up when they
are brought up.

Exactly, they are still in the thick of the wild card race. And there will actually be interesting items to pay attention to in Olt, Lake, Rizzy, and eventually Baez/Bryant.

The highlight (sarcasm) of last night's game was the five minute replay review on whether a pitch was a ball, hit batter, or foul tip off Marte's bat. I've come around to replay in pro sports, but they made a slow game even slower. That being said, the Cubs got their first run of the season based on a replay review!
