In the waning days of the Mike North Morning Show he was telling a story about how he and/or he and his wife were babysitting. I don't remember the exact details at this point, but the gist of it was that the child, who sounded to be in the infant to toddler range, was sick. He said he just closed the door to the room the child was in and went about his business because the kid was sick and what could he do about it? Anne Maxfield (and even North) were appalled and said "You can't leave a sick child in an unattended room with the door closed and leave!"

There was also a time when he was talking about how he and his wife were considering adopting. His wife had apparently gone to an adoption agency, and while she was there she was looking at pictures of children who were up for adoption. He said that when she came home she was no longer sure if she wanted to adopt because the kids were all so ugly. Has anyone ever seen a pic or Fred and his wife? IIRC, they are not lookers.

A few years ago he was doing updates on the day of the Indianapolis 500. He said that since it was raining in Chicago it was probably raining there, too. It could be raining in Schaumburg and not raining in Mt. Prospect. Indianapolis is three hours away. Just because it's raining in Chicago does NOT mean it's also probably raining in Indy.

Ya know, I'm sick of hearing this shit. No non-parents are under the impression that parenting is easy. But parents sure as hell like to remind us that it's not! And yes, I'm 100% sure that I could be a better parent right now than 90% of parents because 90% of people are fucking idiots and thus, bad parents. It takes patience and hard work to be a parent, but stop acting like it's fuckin rocket science. Snooki has kids. Enough said.

My wife was just showing me a blog article from a friend of hers who is pregnant with her first child. Just a few weeks from knowing her and her husband are having their first child and they got all the answers. Not the first time I have seen that either.

Probably true, but there are a lot of those people walking the earth. So it would not be accurate to say that no non-parents are under the impression that parenting is easy.

Like with most things there are idiots on both sides. There are parents that think non parents are clueless boobs that could not tie their own shoes. And there are non parents that think parenting is easy and anyone could raise a kid without any problems.
