I want to see them complain when the schools have "Islamic/Muslim" understanding classes/days

Would you be okay with a public school handing out flyers for an event at a local Mosque?

Depends on what it was for.
A day of Prayer no. For a Ramadan feast no problem as it is not a strict religious thing

With the right posture and intestinal distress I suppose you could power out one parallel to the ground.

So you'd then be against a public school handing out flyers for an even at a local Catholic church I'd assume.

Easter Egg hunt is now some fiery crazy-Christian zealotry aimed at converting non-believers and heretics?

No I am saying that the feast they hold at the end of Ramadan does not have a lot of religious trappings like say a Catholic mass.

Once again. It depends on what it is for. Easter Egg hunt and coloring is not an overt religious activity. Once again we have days and activities dedicated to tolerance of their belief system and when something comes up about an another religion they protest. So then you do not see Christians going all insane like this when that is done. Or if it is done it is labeled radical fundamentalist wack-job stuff. There needs to be compromise, something the Islamic world outlook does not believe in.

Chas, I wouldn't be upset with the easter egg hunt. And I'm not saying you would necessarily be upset if kids were invited to a "non - religious" Islam event. But you can bet your ass that there would be Christian parents raising hell over it if it ever happened. The Muslims here are doing nothing different than a lot if Christian parents would if the tables were turned. So it's just best to keep it all completely separate, in my eyes.

Okay then do you think it is proper for schools to do Islam/Muslim understanding/tolerance days/events? That is the point I am trying to make is that it is all fine when it is for their benefit but when it is a totally, and here is the major point unlike an in-school thing, voluntary activity they go all apeshit. Next thing you know no Girl Scout cookies ,no pancake breakfasts for the Boy Scouts. Once again it is the lack of assimilation that is going on here in America. Every minority group thinks that their system of beliefs is more important than the majorities that we are losing ourselves.

No, I don't think any religious events are proper, including Islamic ones.
