They're not fucked but they're not playing downhill hockey like last year.
They do seem to be heating up at the right time though. I like that there streaking a little now at the last week of the season.

Kinda feels that way, encouraging as the bottom-sixers and IceHogs have been as of late. I'm worried about Toews and Kane. Maybe it's the EVIL JOHN MCDONOUGH connection, but I'm having flashbacks to when Wood and Prior would be no-foolin'-guys-seriously-100-percent, but then there was a setback, something happened, there will be a slight delay, but after that, now we're talkin'. "We're just holding them out to be safe but if it were the playoffs they'd totally play" smells funny.

Oh, and Crawford has reverted to his 2012 form where you're guaranteed at least one toilet-paper-soft goal a night, sometimes two, even three.

Kaner's timeline is right for what that injury looked llike (mild MCL). He should be 100 percent. Toews looked like the dreaded separated shoulder/AC joint sprain and I think he will carry that with him until June.

I don't think the Blues, Kings, Ducks and Sharks can beat the Hawks in a best of 7 if the Hawks have everyone ready to go.

Got to find a way to beat Colorado in the first round and I'm not sure they can, especially without the home ice advantage. If they beat Colorado I think they're going back to the Finals.

I don't trust Crawford. He is only as good as the defense in front to of him, and that defense seems to prone to giving up a lot more open shots and breakaways this year.

The team has had trouble holding leads. They also seem to give up a lot of goals right at the beginning and end of periods. The power play cannot be counted on. Plus we have some major injuries. The line combinations are far from settled.

With this group you always have a chance, but I am decidedly negative. Tough road to the Cup in 2014.

I am generally a glass half full optimist & all year I felt that this team was the best...but I'm not sure they are the best given the injury situation with 19 & 88. I'm not sure that we can expect them both to get back on the ice close to 100% though. This is the least confident that I have been all season. We shall see.
