Dan talks a lot about how "his sponsors" are his real customers, but come on, the Score isn't a mom-and-pop or even a smaller corporate station where talent is expected to contribute to any account maintenance. Non-24, Kars-4-Kids, Walgreens, those are all done by media buyers placing buys with CBS Radio Chicago or CBS Radio as a whole. How many local sponsors does the show have, that is to say people who want to advertise on the Score because of this show? David Hochberg? "My sponsors," like he's fuckin' North slapping backs at some deli on Belmont after his show's over.

Bernsie has specifically said in the past the listeners are not his customers. I do not get that as who are the advertisers trying to reach?

I think he said callers are not his customers but sponsors and, thus, listeners are.

I understand that IF his dickishness toward one caller is heard by five listeners and enjoyed by them. That makes some sense. However, no one saw that text but Greg. It makes no sense. Why would you willingly advise customers to tune out with no entertainment value? There is no upside.

And beyond all the "business" rationale, it's just stupid. Why be a dick just to be a dick? Fuck him. I agree with JORR. If you're an asshole to people, don't be surprised when they want to beat your ass.

I suppose it is mostly good but I am afraid we are the last of a dying generation. A time when a punch in the teeth was deserved and solved and/or cleared up a lot of stupidity. Or when I came home and said Dad neighbor Mr. so and so smacked me in the back of the head and was answered with wtf did you do? Get your ass back and apologize before I hit you again. This is why teenagers in flip flops on planes tell Jorr to go fuck themselves with no fear.

I imagine some of us still go in circles with old friends where we say/do something done and drunk or whatever and your bud will pop you and all is well as you both go get another beer. The world just isn't the same anymore. The new world gave us Bernstein.

I'm not particularly optimistic about Abreu but you can see the kind of power he has. He goes to the plate 550 times, it's going to be difficult for him not to hit 30, especially when half of his at-bats are at U.S. Cellular.

And I wasn't talking about him being great when he was batting .660 two days ago and I don't think he sucks because he's batting .220 now. Why are we even talking about his average over 15 or 20 at-bats? It's silly.

Only 28 more to go for my guy.

Did these two ever talk about the Championship game on Tuesday's show? Any mention of Calipari saying at half time that these kids were freshman and freshman make mistakes? DB was awfully quite during the game on twitter - I wonder if he even watched the game ( I know Terry didn't)
