Don't be stupid Frank. Sustained success leads to more playoff appearances. More playoff appearances, more chances you win the World Series. Whitesox fans are the main reason I can't stand the Whitesox. Annoying as shit.

Go back to the Whitesox thread and keep jerking about your "young prospect" Abreau.

You're more annoying than any Cub or Sox fan on here. And you're fucking up the stereotypes. Cub fans aren't supposed to be the ones obsessed with the White Sox, and yet you can't stop posting about them and their "annoying as shit" fans.

Hey inbred!, im posting in the CUBS forum as a CUBS fan, responding to another stupid Sox fan post in the CUBS forum. I stay out of the Whitesox forums to avoid the circle jerking that goes on there.

What an excellent night. When Lake launched his bomb I never felt prouder to wear my Lake shirsey. All the bros were jealous. :P

Rizzo is hitting .389 against lefties.

That will probably go up

I stand by my opening day reaction. He felt Cubbie Nation's collective panic and responded accordingly.

Lake has got to get 450+ AB's this year right??!!

Talk about a unique skill set and some monster power...

He is working all areas of the field. That is huge. He was not a tough out when he was dead pull last year.

I am not as sold with Olt. Both of his hr's have seemed kind of cheap. I think he knows that though and that is why he was very uncomfortable taking the post game interview last night instead of Rizzo or Boni.

The upside of Olt is worth giving him a solid 2-3 months of consistent starts and ABs to find out what you have. The only other guy that is going to start at 3B is Valbuena, and while he he hasn't been bad as a Cub, he has a career .650 OPS. He would be a fantastic utility guy.

Good game, lets not get all soxy about it. Like I said, it was Wandy and Windy. Too much work to do. I still think Dejesus could help this team, move EMAIL to 2nd and send Barney to AAA or whomever wants him.

Take a cold shower already man. David Dejesus is a 34 year old average outfielder and was an average lead-off man for the Cubs.

A walk and a steal to start this game too. Keep sorta waiting for him to come back down to Earth...

Yeah, that didn't make sense to me with the way Rizzo's been hitting the ball.

Caught trying to steal 3rd.

They're gonna have to rein him in a bit with the SB's.

50 Steals are great but if you get caught 25 times (or really anymore than 15% of the time), it's a net loss

And then Rizzo walks. Fuck.

Such a dumb move.

First time he's been caught this year though, right?

Technically yes, but he's been picked off a couple times.

Gerritt Cole is my dark horse for Cy Young this year. Love that he wears 45. My favorite pitcher of all time John Candaleria's number.

I was just dicussing this with a buddy last night

If I was a position player, Id wear 8 or 24 (Dawson, Manny)

Pitcher would be 45 for sure. Pay-Dro

Bonerfacio with a heads up play. He's going to drive a lot of people crazy with the way he runs the bases this year.

He was always a high K/9 guy until he got to the Cubs. Last couple years was down to 6.x/9
