If the manager is the easiest thing to complain about with the major league club...I'm going to be extremely happy this season.

That being said... Renteria didn't invent the LOOGY. Russell hasn't been great this season or the end of last, but he has a history of pitching well against left handed batters.

Pedro Alvarez makes a lot of pitchers look bad.
