My only questions are that, I swore I read a post from you only a few days ago that said, you were "movin on up' and it was an amazing time for you? Now, you are on the verge of leaving?

my new gig will be product development. i am becoming partners with someone who creates products and innovations, writes the patents and then has his factories produce the products for sale. beyond excited for this one, and i completely lowballed myself when talking about income. it really does appear i will be making a salary that dwarfs anything i have made before... but we will see. i am a very skeptical person with everything in life, just because i have run into so many bad situations in the past. but this has been a 3 month long interview, and i have yet to see any red flags. the guy has even been showing me some of his products that aren't even patented yet, because hes confident i am not the type of guy who would steal an idea like that. also because i showed him my ideas that aren't patented yet, of which he wants to help me produce. again, VERY excited about this guy!

You're not sure what your salary will be? Be careful. It sounds like you have fallen head over heals for this guy. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting into.

ill never understand those who concentrate on only themselves and hurting others to get ahead. it doesn't make sense, but then again an idiot isnt supposed to make sense.

the 'movin on up' part was this new gig. honestly, if my current employer handed me the keys to the entire company i would still leave and go with this new place.

even though i don't know my salary yet, i had stated what i would like to earn- which is almost double what i make now- and i was told thats peanuts to what i would be offered. we are setting up a dinner date to talk contract, so i will know income range in a few days. in the meantime he has been showing me what his current projects are, and its no joke stuff. this is by far the biggest opportunity i have ever come across. and like i said, this has been a 3 month process of which he has been very consistent throughout. i see no red flags, this is real stuff.

I hope you speak to your bosses in a more professional manner than the way you write posts on this board. I am not the grammar police, but you have very poor communication skills. It would make a big difference when speaking to people in a position of power.

what i am on this board is not what i am in real life. if i had poor communication skills i wouldnt have landed this new position. client relations will be a large part of my job. i use capital letters and leave out the cuss words in my emails too.
