Why not run it yourself with some agreement/input from the family that owned McCuddys? Bury the hatchet?

Heard Drinky say that as well, but I thought they pulled out. Either way, the sponsor BACARDI pulled out. Know one guy who drinks rum, never thought it was a big mover, unless you are selling the drinks in the fish bowls with 10 straws.

Who really gives a damn about the McCuddy's family? We all get it. Babe Ruth used to eat hot dogs there and I think gave the owner a bat.

When your biggest claim to fame isn't even a part of White Sox lore, and not particularly interesting anyway, I say good riddance.

Again, I haven't been there and not 100% sure but is it also not open except game days? That defeats the whole purpose if so. Make a fake disneyland bar scene open all the time so people are always there and the game is a thing to do.

The purpose of bars around the cell should be to have people wanting to be there all the time. Not rape them on game days for $8 beers and whatever. They can bring a case and smokey joe and stay in the lot. That does not create a scene or casual attendance.

I've been there 2-3x and never during baseball season. It's a "nice" idea, but it wasn't built with fans like me in mind. I live 10-15 mins from the park & would much rather eat/drink at home or a friend's instead of overpaying there before or after the game.
