HEY TERRY, HERE IS A HINT!

Anyone that is willing to sit down for any extended period of time and write a script for a bit for your show, then hold for 20-30 mins, just to read the crap they think is funny, isn't going to understand "GETTING TO THE POINT".

as someone above said, if you want funny, do funny email craps. not these palaverous emails about topics you've already gone on and on and on about (penn st, catholic church, vaccination, etc etc). there should be more craps that end in " you __________ ass bastard!"

the way he reads the emails it almost seems like he's the one that wrote them. not that i really think he probably does but man he so passionately reads them it really smacks of it.

i was glad someone finally crapped Dan for imploring the WYC'ers to be short yet DB is allowed to read e-craps that drone on for 2-3 minutes. that was the only good one yesterday

During transition Mac joked that they thought of scrapping WYC back in 1995, but Ron Gleason objected. That should tell you just how "creative" the current people are in that they've basically taken a fading concept and tweaked it to be even less entertaining. That Bernstein prefers the e-craps from his select authors should come as little surprise. As he is quick to tell just about anyone, "don't listen" it is obvious that he wants what he wants, good or bad.

Mac's making of point of wanting to listen, addressing them, and then the subsequent verbal hand wringing imploring contributors to "be funny" is indicative of the need for them to either look at cutting back the segment (bi-weekly) or cutting it out. Since they do a show without format, why not take the craps as they come? In a sense, the small coterie of show contributors already do that for them.

For the record: I don't listen to WYC, the formulaic approach and lack of spontaneity kills the potential for humor.
