My brother and I will grab seats at Pop's. I'll try to get there around 12:30 as that should be enough time to get a table. It is a Hawks bar, so it will be crowded. If you want to send me a PM, I will give you my cell number for texting purposes. It would also be helpful to have a rough count of how many seats we will need. Just post if you're planning on coming. If you hadn't guessed yet, my first name is Dennis.

Would love to alas, work beckons. Maybe if by some miracle ( according to rezident FOTG Curious Hair anyway ) they win this series or it goes into next weekend I'll make the next one.

So I'll be there, and I'm pretty sure my buddy Svenny is showing up. Some of you have met him before.

Maybe one or two more, but don't worry about seating for maybes.

Great well you have my cell number and would probably recognize me.

Indeed on both.

Depends on where I get off work. Right now I got three calls on the docket. It not gonna be really cold or anything so that might hold up.

Looks like I can make it on Saturday.

Pops is at the corner of Nerge and Plum Grove in Roselle. It's a Hawks bar.

wow that's considered roselle? i always thought it was the farthest extremity of elk grove if not technically the bumpin city of schaumpton.... but i guess roselle makes sense.

also, why is nerge pronounced NERG-E and not NERGE like MERGE? or is it one of those great lies hoisted on us by people in power who like to see the populace walking around all ignorant calling NERGE road NERG-E road?

i doth conspire too much.

btw is there any reason you guys gave up on the DER-SCHNORR-APPROVED wonderland of real time sports in elk grove village? i'm guessing it prolly gets really filled up for hawks playoff games, eh?

Come on, we all know how this works. If you really want to go, I am sure you can convince him.

and call it a hunch that the tried-and-true excuse of "i think someone drugged my diet coke because i woke up 2 days later on a midlothian dive-bar restroom floor with my face painted like the joker and a new tattoo saying 'why so serious?' " has started to get questioned a little bit, eh? =D

Oh crap, I've been calling it Nerj! Ah geez, I'm an idiot! I guess it fits the whole German thing with Bode and Springinsguth (which is sometimes signed as "Spring South", leading me to think "Springinsguth" was just a highly elaborate typo).

The area around Golf and Algonquin Rds is a weird confluence of suburbs, too. I think technically it's all Rollin' Meadows, but I prefer to think of it as Scharling Meadowburg Heights.

What does it take to get a Curious Hair to a board outing ? I know you don't drink so I figure a meet up at a bar surrounded by drunks probably doesn't sound too appealing .

I was all set to go to McNuggets 80 until it seemed like the board was facing doom. :(
