To the finish line, to the border line. Mac and his 2nd run at the Score is almost finished and this day he will be paired with Grote, again. Not a bad show yesterday but it wasn't all that great either. You have to hand it to Mac, he is definitely letting his boys get some air time so that they will be able to better advance their careers when he departs. That's a good guy, unlike the douche on afternoon drive.

It's Friday folks, call in sick, crack a beer and toast the Koch Brothers, it's their ingenuity and love of democracy that has gotten us this far. They embody the spirit of what we strive to be, what he yearn to become.

As Always,

SomeGuy.

Solid show, thus far.

A nice cruise to finish out the week.

I thought Mac would be depressed today following the Hawks loss. Last postseason his moods fluctuated with every win and loss. But he sounds a bit giddy, somewhat slaphappy, and a tad pleased. Must be all the de-Grimacing going on at the Score.

He does sound slaphappy.

It's been a good show so far today. Grote seems like a likable guy, which is a pleasant change from Spiegel and the show that follows.

I like Grote. That Pinella impression had me cracking up.

MeatPants isn't going to take kindly to being called Grimace, right? Are they outwardly calling him that or making a veiled reference? I need to catch up this week...

Outwardly, several times this week. About an hour ago Mac was saying Meat will be back on Monday and he's sure there will be plenty of baseball talk because Grimace will want to put his fingerprints all over the show

I don't remember what was said verbatim but the gist of it was Mac asked B&B if they listened to SCR while on vacation.
He then made reference to if Grimace was listening, and heard the term Grimace, he would probably be in a pissy mood on Monday and Mac would have to pacify him by steering the conversation to baseball.

B&B heard the term Grimace for the first time today and wanted an explanation.
Mac admitted it wasn't his creation.
B&B were surprised Mac would refer to him as Grimace and were amused by it.

So on his way out Mac thinks he take shots at everyone?? Seems like he is only willing to insult those who are not around to respond lately (ripping boers and hanley for leaving the buffone roast early and then leaving on vacation for a week.... his many veiled shots at speigal this week while speigal is gone).... edit: I guess he rips on senor columnist plenty but senor columnist never gets butthurt over it.
