24 years old. So is this guy considered a millennial? I'm just curious so I know which generation of humans to cast blame at.

Sure, give the guy a quick trial. I think most can agree what the punishment should be.

I'm me Frank and yeah I believe this guy should be dragged out back and shot like a rabid dog . End of story. Sorry if that makes me a constitution trampler but I'll somehow manage to soldier on .

Sorry rogue but it absolutely does. I can't believe you're actually saying he doesn't have a right to a trial. I would expect it from Scorehead. Also, killing this guy won't bring back his son, but it will make us a society who kills people. That said, I at least understand the death penalty argument. I don't understand the trial argument.
That's fine leash. Like I said Im fine with trampling this guys rights and what that makes me in the eyes of the board. Carry on. 8)

Fringe was an interesting show... a little quirky, but I enjoyed it.

If we just start killing people without trials, it would be a complete regression of society.

Scorehead: The government can't do anything right! Have you ever been to the DMV or the post office!? I don't want them to make any decisions or do anything! And they're butchering the Constitution!

Well, what about putting their own citizens to death or letting them determine who does and does not get a trial, which is a guaranteed right in the Constitution?

Scorehead: Oh, yeah, I trust them to do that. Fuck the Constitution there.

Conservative and libertarian are definitely not interchangeable. I can't remember one time reading a libertarian on here(there's like 3 of us) immediately call for someone's death after a story like this one. You should know better.

In this instance, I would actually be OK with that provided he was found guilty in a court of law.

So there's a chance this guy is innocent then? Seems to me this is pretty much a no doubter.

You and Reason are the first ones that come to mind. That being said there are a lot of people who claim to be libertarian. I know there are no absolutes.

Jesus. The fact someone says something like this and might mean it is more horrifying than the guy who killed his kid.

I'm not saying he is innocent at all. But I refuse to call it a 'no doubter' just from reading a few stories on the interwebs.

It seemed like a no doubter that Amanda Hunsacker committed suicide, but as Riggs and Murtagh found out she was actually poisoned.

It appears that he is but we've seen stranger things happen. The guy could be covering for a wife or girlfriend. I'm a pro life guy that is also pro death penalty. I just would prefer he get his day in court. After that do whatever you want to him.

No. Obviously we have a system in this country that allows for everyone to defend themselves & to by tried by a jury. But I would expedite cases like this & expedite the death penalty for them. The guy put a fucking plastic bag over his one year old Childs head. Where do I sign up to push the button on this asshole?

Maybe you should sign up to actually read the story first there, champ.

No shit

Scorehead, this is EXACTLY WHY we have due process and fair trials. Its because of stupid people like you to jump to conclusions without knowing or even bothering to look at all of the facts before you make a decision.

I say this every time a death penalty issue comes up on the board but in situations like this reactions are like a glass. You can fill it full of emotion, or you can fill it full of intellect, but that glass only holds so much and you can fill it full of both. We should make our decisions when it comes to extinguishing a life based on reason and intellect. Not quick emotional responses. Look where a quick emotional response got the perp. Frigging lynch mob action developing here. Pitchforks and torches for everyone!

Yea, I had this mixed up with another case.
In that case, maybe this poor soul can be rehabilitated?
It doesn't matter how he killed his Son. He killed his son. He should suffer the same fate.

Not always true. If someone took the life of my kids I am making that emotional decision and imagine you feel the same about DW. When the person isn't close to you it is a lot easier to step back and think clearly.
