Rice friday night starter Jordan Stephens tore his UCL and will undergo Tommy John surgery. That's a tough break for the Owls.

That double header loss was a killer for my Hogs on Saturday. Anderson is off to a great start and Beeks is throwing the hell out of the baseball. Heading out to California for 4 games this weekend and then they come back and open SEC play next weekend against Florida.

Killian started the back end of the DH and was roughed up a bit. He should be fine going forward. Anderson is hitting the hell out of the ball but he already has 5 errors. They need to find somewhere else to play him. The guy I really like is Benintendi. That kid looks like he's going to be a player.

Benintendi is going to be, there was a great article about him in Hawgs Illustrated. He was also a stud basketball player.

It's funny. As much as I enjoy college baseball, I can be very dismissive of the Miami kid's perfect game against Villanova last night.

I hear ya, Reader. A Senior starter during a weekday game. It's a nice accomplishment but it would be much different if it were a top junior or stud freshman throwing one on a weekend in a conference game.

#2 South Carolina vs Arkansas is on ESPNU tonight at 7:00pm. Your Hog's need a series win, Hawger and it's not going to be easy against a very good 'Cock team.

No, another disappointing season. I wonder if his job is in jeopardy, I would have to think the seat may be getting warm.

I don't think so. He continues to get really good recruiting classes in. For whatever reason his teams just can't put it all together for an extended period of time.

I just watched it. It was a tough loss but a really good game. Who is the third baseman? He kinda sucks and has a bad case of punch me face.
