So, who cares who wins DPOTY but if Noah finishes third in MVP voting ahead of Blake Griffin the voters should have their ballots taken away.

I've been out of town. Did Dan cover the big Jameis Winston story that ran in the NYT last week. Pretty disturbing stuff there.

How does it get you closer to a championship?

Well, having the best defensive player and a good coach is a nice start.

Hey Mitch,

The B&B threads once were routinely 5-6 pages each day. But that's when the show was actually funny and not dominated by a pompous jackass. The threads may have often been juvenile or maybe even dominated by pompous asses, but they were indicative of the former popularity of the show.

I think this may be the sixth or seventh posting in today's thread, and it's only here to further illustrate to degree to which Bernstein has alienated actual long term sports radio listeners.

Maybe you should get the hint?

Sincerely,

A former listener

This thread is unfortunate. It's on the wrong side of history.

I know you feel that way while reading it, but is it quantifiable?

You should reach up and change the station, then.

Someone definitely wasn't considering the optics of the situation.

I won't say I am a total former listener yet, but I do turn it off enough these days because it's the same deal. They look for the idiot caller for Dan to make fun of, then read 5 email from the BBALS of Quad, Maddux, Ali, Davenport, Unemployed Lawyer.

After taking almost an entire two years off I must say that it's a tough slog. What was once novel is now the most predictable and predictably boring show on the station. Last week someone called in with an NBA question (who does that?) for Danny and I got as far as "metrically speaking..." before I turned it off. Couldn't bear any more.

I listened today. Really was bad and Terry is picking spots to be funny again. Maybe there is hope.

TB will always be able to make some good wise cracks, but it gets tougher and tougher sitting in the basement in Mokena or Frankfort.

Sooner or later he'll be smoking crack in the basement in Mokena.

Last little bit TB has been more forthcoming with "um no I didn't see or read that and I don't care" rather than making it up or faking.

probably overstated to death but there is no one that can check db sniffing his own farts. Terry is only interested in letting us know everything and everyone is bad or a peenis. matty tries but i don't think he's allowed to do it as much as he should but even then hes usually bad at it. mac gets 10 minutes to attempt to bring up yesterdays insanity but its just not the right timing.

i start off my ride home listening to 670. our local fox station plays steve gorman from 2-5 who's horrible so i'll usually listen to b&b if i'm goign home early. otherwise, after 5 is BTN radio which i'll listen to if b&b is stupid. i listen to alot more btn radio these days.

it certainly has lost its appeal. i remember when i first discovered the score and they were on in the midday and the wise guys were on in the afternoons. for some reason even with northy, it was much more appealing.

Monday transition was another sign of Terry's sad decline into a vegetative state. Mac asked him who he likes for the Derby and Terry had no idea. Gotta get Terry on the Buffone plan of weekly phone call segments.
