There's way more than two U2 guys here. You, RPB, CH just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are others.

Wasn't it "uncomfortable pink"?

My feelings are just fine. Calling you a 'genius' is juvenile name calling? God only knows what you consider a compliment.
And nice RNM/CLH sideswipe there, too.

So your feelings were hurt, then? OK, got it. Go get a cookie.

The most annoying to me lately would be Springsteen. Was a huge fan in 80's-90's. Last couple concerts he stops and has either a sermon southern baptist revival or long ass political rant. Keep it. U2 was doing this as well I think? Any band that can't keep their mouth shut and simply entertain the captive audience can blow me.

yeah it's hard to get into anything springsteen's done in the past 15-20 years. he was the boss from the late 70's to the mid 80's but i wanna take 41 shots to the head listening to anything from him lately.

Don't you mean since the early '70s?

His last great album was Nebraska. I really like the original "Ghost of Tom Joad," though, the title track, at least.

Actually CH is right. I listen still to his first two CD's and Bor to run was 75. As for the back end I stopped around his twin solo ones and Joad.

Drop-dead serious: Greetings. . . is miles ahead of Born in the USA, and The Wild. . . is his best album of all.

I have no problem with Greetings.... I like the record personally. But if we're looking at his body of work objectively, we should recognize that it was recorded before Springsteen found his own voice. It comes off as a Dylan tribute record.

I'll put it out there that I loved "The Rising" from start to finish and go ahead and dodge the incoming projectiles...
