Yeah usually suspects cooperate and surrender peacefully. They should never have to have someone pinned on the hood of their car. Silly cops.

And cops never ever abuse their power. Silly citizens.

I believe Hussra is referring to asking for the pics and getting what they deserve as in "they should have known"

On-Duty NYPD Officer Charged With DWI After Shooting Partner in Wrist
1,873g11

The NYPD's great week of publicity continues: Thursday night, an allegedly drunk on-duty NYPD officer shot his partner in the wrist while the two were drinking at a restaurant in Queens.

WABC reports that Detective Jay Poggi accidentally shot his partner with his .38 at about 1:50 am Thursday. According to the New York Daily News, the shooting occurred as the two were having drinks in a Queens restaurant, where they'd stopped on their way to a Queens location as part of an investigation.

After Poggi rushed his partner to the hospital, he reportedly refused to submit to a breath-alcohol test and was later charged with driving while intoxicated.

The partner, a 12-year veteran, had surgery and is now in stable condition.

ABQ, New Mexico cops flashbang, taser and then set a dog on a homeless man and then shoot him to death. They are tac'd out and look like they would be at home storming some hill in Afghanistan.

To protect and serve.

Yeah, the militarization of our police force is one of the most disgusting developments of society recently.

The actual video is nuts.

-Taser
-Flashbang
-Dog
-Homeless man grabs his pocket knife
-Cops blow him away with assault rifles.

That's a step above Peoria police, at least.

Radley Balko's recent book about that exact topic is fantastic.

Police had a presser this week. They did nothing wrong. The fact that no charges will be filed just showed that justice was served.

Amazing.

have some respect.

Its possible to respect cops individually (unless they lose that respect) but also realize they aren't superheroes or gods

You are just the other side of the "all cops are assholes" idiocy

Idk. The anti-war left has been strangely silent the past six years.
