Just thought I would see if there was anyone that was going to play or had any interest in playing this year.
I know it isn't cheap but I would assume it is a pretty fun event and from what I remember, it is a nice course.
I am considering attending but would rather play with someone I kinda know from the interwebs than getting
paired with some strangers.

670 The Score will be hosting the 2014 Danny Mac Charity Golf Outing presented by the Dan Wolf Automotive Group on Monday, June 2nd. The event will consist of a day of golf including a live broadcast with the McNeil and Spiegel Show and the Boers and Bernstein Show, all while benefiting the Turning Pointe Autism Foundation!

The 2014 Danny Mac Charity Golf Outing will take place on June 2nd with a shotgun start of 1:15pm at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge. Entry into the outing is $200.00 per person or $750.00 / foursome, which includes lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, hole prizes, and a buffet style dinner.

Foursomes go on sale Monday, April 28th at 9:00am. For more information on the 2014 Danny Mac Charity Golf Outing, hosted by WSCR 670 the Score, please call 312-729-3944.

Depends on work goes, but I'd like to try. I'd say questionable for now.

Cool. I'd say I'm questionable too, just kinda dipping my toe in the water to see what kind of interest
there was, if any at all.

Way far out in the burbs. I can give you a lift to the train station at the end of the day. You'll be right by my house.

Is this still a "celebrity" outing or just a plain old outing?

I would like to but I think the fiance would kill me if I spent $200 while simultaneously cutting the flower budget by the same amount.

Good call, Doug.

Although you could still play and dig some flowers up on the way out.

I don't know. I think my celebrities were Ronnie Bull, Artie Kennedy, and Josh Mora (?) or something like that - the guy that got fired from Comcast for something.

Or Doug could have his wedding at the Garfield Park Conservatory in my hood....apparently this has been done a lot.

I'll have to see what the budget looks like in a couple of weeks, but I just noticed that this is an afternoon thing, though being on a Monday kinda sucks. I'd be able to work 1/2 day which helps out.

I heard MWSFMB is having their own outing the same day.

They reserved the 11:30 foursome at the local par-3 "executive" course somewhere in Wisconsin. Still two spots open.

1st Annual MWSFMB Invitational.

Kid Cairo sends out invites, but then you never hear from him again and he doesn't show up.

I love golf outings/scrambles, but $200 to play Seven Bridges is a HUGE rip off. I'd pay $60-70 max. A hot dog lunch and a crappy buffet dinner doesn't make up the $130 difference.

100% of the proceeds. Its not a ripoff, shakes. Its a fundraiser. If you want to play the course for cheap do a twilight round on a weekday.
