I would not say that there's a Jewish element to it, but it's totally believable that Sterling was one of Stern's rank-and-file guys, just like Larry Miller or Bill Davidson. It certainly appears that Sterling is a racist and should be criticized as such. However, the circumstances behind this recording being released and any possible official punishment concerns me. Sterling was not speaking publicly...this was a private conversation, he may have been intoxicated, and it seems the wife had it out for him. What if he claims he was just messing with her, playing a character, or any number of things? Of course, we wouldn't have to believe him, but I don't see how an illegally obtained recording can be used against him.
