I think that covers all folks, no?

I would not say that there's a Jewish element to it, but it's totally believable that Sterling was one of Stern's rank-and-file guys, just like Larry Miller or Bill Davidson. They were there for him, and he was there for them: they all saw their teams explode in value by putting their trust in him. Maybe Silver still feels like he has to do right by Stern and the old guard of NBA ownership and can't come down on Sterling as hard as maybe he should.

The players could essentially fine the entire league for inaction if they really wanted to make a stand.

Both sides could show but refuse to play the game. Fans could be encouraged not to show or show and at some point demonstrate.

It certainly appears that Sterling is a racist and should be criticized as such. However, the circumstances behind this recording being released and any possible official punishment concerns me. Sterling was not speaking publicly...this was a private conversation, he may have been intoxicated, and it seems the wife had it out for him. What if he claims he was just messing with her, playing a character, or any number of things? Of course, we wouldn't have to believe him, but I don't see how an illegally obtained recording can be used against him.

I don't think there is a single one of us who could stand scrutiny if our spousal arguments were recorded for the world to hear.

That said, this is pretty much the same conversation Pesci had in Goodfellas with his girlfriend about Sammy Davis Jr. that was so cringe worthy. How do you say that kind of stuff about your customers and employees?

The guy would have been fully within his rights to object to his goomah taking pictures with young men and posting them all over the internets. Surprisingly, that doesn't seem to matter to him, which kind of gives off a weird vibe as well.

In California, both parties need to consent to the call being recorded. IDK what the punishment is, but unless she has him on tape saying he's OK w/ being recorded, she's fucked.

She has denied releasing the recordings. Unless TMZ rats her out they cannot prove she did it.

This wasn't a call. She handed him juice at the beginning of the conversation.

This could be audio from security cameras on the property. Legal recording.

There is a very large contingent of males in our society that support a woman's right to perform oral sex on her evening's respective gentleman caller.

What are we talking about?

Sodomy is a very non-specific term.

Also - who am I to tell two consenting adults anal is off the table for them?

Sorry I was too busy reading about the family values guy banging his secretary and the guy from NY getting indicted. Please enlighten us as to what BHO said 6 years ago. It's what you're good at.
