As to shaking hands: I enjoy when two guys who have never held any job that approaches "the business world" nor have any formal education in the area lecture me about business protocols.

You know why JR is considered by so many to be such a great guy despite a track record of ruining lives? It is because of his loyalty. It is this loyalty which prevents him from ending a life long friendship over a character flaw. Dan, of course, has never indicated possessing any close friendships so that trait is lost on him.

Yeah, I caught the end of the show yesterday (transition with Leary) and Dan kept insisting that JR needs to renounce/end his friendship with Sterling. Larry was actually the voice of reason, saying he didn't know that it had to go that far (but JR should make a statement condemning the racism).
