I'm going to go out on a limb and posit if Donald Sterling phoned Larry up and offered him 500k to be the Clppers play by play man Larry would be on the next flight to LAX to sign it. ( after giving Sterling the requisite hard looks and almost ass kicking that is)

Yeah, he did.

I pretty much catch this B and B stuff second hand. I was happy to be a witness to this.

As to shaking hands: I enjoy when two guys who have never held any job that approaches "the business world" nor have any formal education in the area lecture me about business protocols.

that was an awful attempt at humor.

But I did learn that the Cubs will be playoff competitive by 2016. And very mediocre but watchable next year.

Not buying it.

Yours was an interesting call. It seemed you put them off balance from the start and kept them off rhythm. So, does being watchable translate to winning? Or does it mean that there will be a few players with solid fantasy type numbers?

I don't thing he bought what he told you either.

There should be more calls like this.

You know why JR is considered by so many to be such a great guy despite a track record of ruining lives? It is because of his loyalty. It is this loyalty which prevents him from ending a life long friendship over a character flaw. Dan, of course, has never indicated possessing any close friendships so that trait is lost on him.

That's a very cromulent point. Everyone who talks about Jerry mentions loyalty

Yeah, I caught the end of the show yesterday (transition with Leary) and Dan kept insisting that JR needs to renounce/end his friendship with Sterling. Larry was actually the voice of reason, saying he didn't know that it had to go that far (but JR should make a statement condemning the racism).

Bernstein insisting that JR renounce his friendship with someone so Bernstein can feel better about his admiration for JR is preposterous.

I'm going to renounce all of my racist family members today. Thanks Bernsie. Without you, everything falls apart.

Just wanted to chime in on George Segal. Great actor in both drama and comedy. Check out the 1967 version of "The St. Valentines Day Massacre". I think he played Bugs Moran.
