They can't. All they can do is wish. He has a right to believe and say whatever he wants. He wasn't convicted of a crime and he isn't having any financial problems. They cannot take his team away and won't be dumb enough to try.

The NBA can force him out of the league completely, but it's complicated (it was on the radio this am):

-Another owner would have to file a written complaint with the league, to which Sterling has the right to respond in writing
-Then a vote would be taken by the owners, and something like 75% of the owners would have to vote to oust him.

I believe it's complicated because Sterling's wife owns 1/2 the team?





-Side note: WTF is up with their marriage situation? Still married, but he takes his much younger mistress out in public to the games - of the team he owns with his wife, sometimes while she's sitting there too?
